The Queerreferat an den Aachener Hochschulen e.V. is a charitable and non-profit organisation. Registered at Aachen District Court, the association provides the formal basis for our work.
You are also welcome to become a member of the association. The membership fee is currently the rather symbolic amount of €0.50 per year if you are enrolled at one of Aachen’s universities, and €1 per year in all other cases. You then have the right to vote at the general meetings. These usually take place at the beginning of each semester. At the general meeting, the board is elected, long-term strategies and objectives are discussed and other formal issues are clarified. Membership of the association is not compulsory and is not expected if you wish to attend or help organise our events.
